Transportation Service for Seniors
In keeping with our mission statement and the corporation’s hope to help community members reach their full potential, we have joined forces with Community and Policing Revitalization to offer a free transportation service for senior citizens.
Senior citizens, ages 60 and older, are invited to make use of this supportive service if they live within a 5-mile radius of New Rising Star and have non-emergency transportation needs. Please note, however, that at this time we are not able to provide accommodations for wheel-chair bound seniors; seniors utilizing this service must be able to walk unassisted.
