House Build

New Rising Star’s House Build program supports neighborhood revitalization by building new homes and rehabilitating existing homes in our community for moderate to very-low income families.

House Build was designed to help the community achieve housing targets.

Housing targets are achieved when:

  • Vacant housing is significantly reduced or eliminated
  • Residents live in owner-occupied, single family affordable housing for families whose incomes are below the median household income for Jefferson County
  • All targeted homeowners are educated with home maintenance and financial education programs.
