In keeping with New Rising Star’s mission to enrich the lives of our community and community members, we offer an ever-expanding list of programs, supportive services, and annual events.

Current programs
Rising Stars Educational Enrichment Program

The primary goal of the Rising Stars Educational Enrichment Program is to promote excellence in education with emphasis on academic performance in reading and math. We also provide enrichment activities (physical fitness, nutrition, and computing skills). In addition, we offer spring and summer camps to reinforce educational skills taught throughout the school year.

Housing Programs

Our goal is to significantly reduce or eliminate vacant housing within our community. Our vision is to have residents live in owner-occupied, single-family affordable housing.
